On September 3, 2026, EngiTissue Design Co., Ltd. participated in the ISCT Asia 2026 Regional Meeting (International Society for Cell & Gene Therapy), held at the Suntec Singapore Convention & Exhibition Centre in Singapore.
At the meeting, an abstract by Li Junjun of our company was accepted for an Oral Presentation and delivered in Oral Session 2.
Presentation title: A dual excitation-contraction platform for functional evaluation and drug safety assessment of human iPSC-derived cardiac tissues
In the presentation, using human iPSC (induced pluripotent stem cell)-derived cardiac tissue, we reported a platform for evaluating tissue function and applying it to drug safety assessment. A poster presentation was also given, and we held active discussions with fellow researchers and experts.
EngiTissue Design continues to develop functional and drug-safety evaluation technologies utilizing iPSC-derived tissues. We will keep sharing our research results and building a global network through such international academic exchanges.
